JOB DESCRIPTION
Department: Cath Labs Anc
Shift Timings: Morning 07:00 - 15:30Hours Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours)
Per Week: 40 Hours
Cath Lab Tech (RCIS required)
0700-1530, 0930-1800 (will need to work both)
Weekend call once every 5-6 weeks and One call shift a week-Weekend call once every 5-6 weeks and One call shift a week.- 30 min call back time
REQUIRED ACLS & BLS
Responsibilities
Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures.
Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
Prepare, implement and document plan of care.
Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
Qualifications
BLS and ACLS
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Strong technical skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Requires a minimum of two years of current Cardiovascular Tech experience.
Graduate from a fully accredited Cardiovascular Tech/Radiology Tech program
Active unencumbered Michigan Cardiovascular Tech state license
One year of Cerner experience
ARRT Certification
Requirements
