Lutheran Health Network, Medical Group, in Warsaw, IN, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to encompass full range of health care needs for women during pregnancy, childbirth and post-partum. Primary Care, to patients, will be provided under supervision of clinic Physician. Start date in 2020.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic, quality, and cost-effective care.
• Perform gynecological exams.
• Educate patients on health, nutrition, and family planning.
• Perform tests to obtain information about patients' medical conditions.
• Counsel on birthing plans, including hospital care, birthing centers, and other options.
• Coach mother through birthing process.
• Perform deliveries.
• Assist surgeons or physicians in care during complicated births.
• Provide care for mothers and newborns after birth.
• Explain & demonstrate breastfeeding techniques.
• Closely monitor patient postpartum, be available for questions.
