Tulane School of Medicine, Section of Infectious Disease is seeking a board certified - eligible infectious disease physician to join the faculty.
Qualified Candidates:
- Join a robust academic group of clinical educators as the program continues to expand to provide care at university-affiliated hospitals in the New Orleans Metropolitan area.
- The Section of Infectious Disease is committed to providing outstanding patient care through cutting-edge research trials with a strong focus on clinical research and is seeking an individual with that same commitment.
- Candidates will receive an academic appointment at Tulane University School of Medicine at the assistant, associate or full professor level dependent on previous academic accomplishments and experience.
- This position will include staffing several HIV/ID clinics and rounding on inpatient ID consultation services at the Tulane Medical Center and University Medical Center of New Orleans.
- Possible key roles open to the successful candidate include serving as the Program Director for the ID Fellowship, Infection Prevention, clinical or bench research and/or quality improvement activities.
- As a faculty member, the candidate will be expected to play an important role in the education of residents, fellows and students.
- Board certified or board eligible in infectious disease.
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Louisiana
