Proud to partner with a hospital in central Michigan that has an opening for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join their team.

About the Position:
Flexible Scheduling: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts
Call Requirement: 1:4 beeper call, 7 consecutive days
Trauma Designation: Level II
Setting: Hospital and surgery center
Facility: 11 ORs in hospital, 3 ORs in surgery center
Cardiac Patient Volume: 300 annually
Cases: Open hearts, complex hearts, thrombosis
Support Staff: Full subspecialty support
Independent cases
Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Michigan Anesthesiologist state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Cardiac Anesthesiologist
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified

Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
