Responsibilities
Working with an established client on the eastern coast of Florida with an opening for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist.
Reside in a family-friendly community with excellent public and private schools, relaxing beaches, and great indoor and outdoor attractions!
Opening Highlights:
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday
In-house call, 1 weekday evening & 1 weekend day per month
Level 4 NICU
100% pediatric anesthesia
12-19 sites open daily - Uro, ENT, complex peds, ortho, general surgery, plastics, cardiac, neuro
Patient Ages: 0-17
Care team model, 75% supervision and 25% own cases
Board certification required

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Florida Anesthesiologist state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Pediatric Anesthesiologist
One year of Epic experience
Board Certified

Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
