Responsibilities
No In-House call
Bonus: 90% ASA Unit metrics met annually $25kEmployed by the Hospital
Day, Float/Night Float system
Average of 1 weekend call per month
Hospital: Level III trauma center
Two facilities 315 bed main campus and 52 bed multidisciplinary women’s hospital
Main campus 15 OR’s, 4 rooms Endoscopy suites, 1 Pulmonary suite
Women’s campus 6 OR’s
Pediatric services: Typically 3-4 wks. Is the youngest, occasionally, neonates for pyloric stenosis
No epidurals at the main campus, all performed by CRNAs at the Women’s Campus
Surgical Case Variety: - Main Campus: General, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Neurosurgery, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Trauma (Level III) - Women’s Hospital Campus: OB/GYN, ENT, Pediatrics
Anesthesiology team: 6 physicians and more than 25 CRNA’s

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Illinois Anesthesiologist state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Anesthesiologist
One year of Epic experience
BC/BE Anesthesiologist
Cardiac trained (preferred, not required)
Unrestricted Licensed in LA
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
