Responsibilities
A clinic in New York, New York, has an opportunity for a skilled Primary Care Physician with an HIV Certification to join their team full-time.
This position offers an experienced Primary Care Physician the opportunity to provide specialized care to a dynamic community,
About the Position:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, 1 weekend shift per month
Call Requirement: 2 months per year by phone
Patient Census: 14 per day
Cases: General PC with some HIV patients
Support Staff: MA
EMR: ECW
Must have HIV experience
Spanish-speakers preferred, interpreters available
Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Qualifications
Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Family Medicine
Open to Residents and Fellows
Open to Visa Candidates
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered physician New York state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Family Practice Physician
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified

Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
