Primary Care Physician – South Central Vermont
COMPENSATION: $250,000 Base + RVU
Potential up to $400,000 + Outstanding benefits
This southern Vermont practice uniquely provides the community with access to Primary Care, Behavioral Health and Care Management services for the whole family.
Primary Care services include on-site Behavioral Health providers, Social Workers, and Care Management, along with preventive programs like diabetes management and education.
We are a multi-site FQHC serving 80% of the primary care needs in our community (central Vermont).
The Green Mountain National Forest, Killington, and Pico ski resorts are a short drive from the picturesque historic downtown area.
Responsibilities
Market leading compensation: Base $250k + RV
Move to production model after 18 months – Some PCP’s making upwards to $400k
M-F 8a-5p
Can work a 4-day week or a 5-day week
No hospital rotation
Call: 2-3 weeks out of the year
Average 16-22 patients a day

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered MD or DO Vermont state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as a Primary Care Physician
One year of Epic experience
Board Certified

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
