Providence Digestive Health is seeking a transplant hepatologist to join their dedicated team in Spokane, WA. You will work in close collaboration with the Swedish Organ Transplant team based in Seattle, WA. We care for patients from a broad catchment area covering eastern Washington, northern Idaho, western Montana, and northwest Oregon. With respect to the transplant program, we play a pivotal role taking responsibility for evaluating new patient referrals, managing patients pre-transplant, and resuming care at 6-8 weeks post transplant alongside the existing full time transplant hepatologist. The position offers a healthy work/life balance with a four day work week comprising of a mix of general and transplant hepatology outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding service, and dedicated anesthesia time for endoscopic procedures. There are experienced, full time APP’s to assist with inpatient rounding. Moreover, there is a dedicated transplant coordinator RN, two general hepatology RN’s, three designated MAs, and three patient care coordinators. We have a robust, multidisciplinary group including general gastroenterology, advanced GI, hepatobiliary surgery, and interventional radiology to provide comprehensive care at our tertiary care center.

- Call would be 1:3 and is 7:30-5:00 pm weekdays only. No night or weekend call.
- Compensation is between $425,722 and $600,148 per year
- The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/ service incentives and production bonuses as applicable to the position. In addition, physicians have CME benefits available to them
