Qualified Candidates:
Board certified in general surgery and board certified/board eligible in surgical critical care
Practicing trauma surgeon with 2+ years’ experience or new graduate
Licensed to practice in the state of Texas
ATLS certified required
14 shifts primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hour secondary call from home with 30 minutes
APP support provided
2022 Registry Volume 2268, Trauma Admissions 1366, Blunt 93%, Penetrating 6%.
Avg. 3.8 trauma alerts per day
