HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking to employ a board certified adult cardiothoracic transplant surgeon to serve as the heart transplant surgical director and lead the development of an advanced and growing transplant and cardiothoracic program in Houston, Texas. The position would have the surgeon working primarily with HCA's Medical Center hospital, located just north of the Texas Medical Center.
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have 5 or more years of experience in adult heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and ECMO
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Surgery Fellowship required
Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas Medical license in good standing.
