TeamHealth is looking for exceptional general surgeons to join our acute care general surgery program at Hendrick Medical Center, a Level III trauma center in Abilene, Texas! To attract the best, we make sure surgeons have manageable caseloads and the right resources to provide high-quality patient care. Qualifications:

• Trauma/surgical critical care fellowship preferred
• Board certified by the American Board of Surgery or Osteopathic board certification
• Active or in-process Texas medical license
• Willing to relocate to the Abilene area

What you can expect: 

• Work 7 days on/7 days off 
• Back up call coverage
• Support from advanced practice clinicians
• Moderate trauma with a variety of cases
• Evaluation of all trauma and emergency general surgery consults
• Outpatient follow-up in clinic
• Round on in-house patients
