HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, in conjunction with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM), is seeking an exceptional internal medicine physician to join as Transitional Year Program Director for their established program.
Qualified Candidates:
ABIM certification required
Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of prior academic leadership appointments and / or experience per the ACGME requirements
Devote 30% FTE of non-clinical time to the administration of the program
Clinical duties are focus primarily on outpatient general medicine
12 TY residents and 60 IM residents per year
Will be responsible for administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient care
