We are looking for a full-time relationship-centered family physician to add to our team at our near-site employer-sponsored primary care clinic in Bakersfield, CA.
We provide high-quality, proactive primary care to adults and children in partnership with local employers or unions.
We focus on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and maximizing provider-patient relationships.
We seek providers who are passionate about providing full-spectrum primary care resulting in top-notch clinical quality, outstanding service, and increased overall health outcomes.

Responsibilities
Average of 12-15 patients/day
Competitive base salary + bonus’
More time spent with patients to enhance relationships and build trust
Far less time with ICD-10 coding and admin work vs traditional primary care, and admin time is built into the schedule (no need to take home your work!)
The opportunity to really improve patient outcomes with a finite patient panel
Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered physician California state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Internal Medicine Physician
One year of Epic experience
Board-certified (or eligible) in Family Medicine or both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
Comfortable performing well-woman exams and prescribing birth control is required
Procedure experience is a huge plus!

Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
