Primary Care Physician – South Central Vermont
COMPENSATION: $250,000 Base + RVU
Potential up to $400,000 + Outstanding benefits
This southern Vermont practice uniquely provides the community with access to Primary Care,
Behavioral Health and Care Management services for the whole family.
Primary Care services include on-site Behavioral Health providers, Social Workers, and Care Management, along with preventive programs like diabetes management and education.
We are a multi-site FQHC serving 80% of the primary care needs in our community (central Vermont).
Responsibilities
Market leading compensation: Base $250k + RVU
Move to production model after 18 months – Some PCP’s making upwards to $400k
M-F 8a-5p
Can work a 4-day week or a 5-day week
No hospital rotation
Call: 2-3 weeks out of the year
Average 16-22 patients a day
Will hire a 2025 resident
Qualifications
BLS and ACLS
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Strong technical skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
Active unencumbered Vermont physician state license
One year of Epic experience
Two years minimum of Primary Care Physician experience
MD or DO Doctorate degree

A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
