Job Description

Primary Care Physician – South Central Vermont

COMPENSATION: $250,000 Base + RVU

Potential up to $400,000 + Outstanding benefits

  • This southern Vermont practice uniquely provides the community with access to Primary Care,

  • Behavioral Health and Care Management services for the whole family.

  • Primary Care services include on-site Behavioral Health providers, Social Workers, and Care Management, along with preventive programs like diabetes management and education.

  • We are a multi-site FQHC serving 80% of the primary care needs in our community (central Vermont).

Responsibilities
  • Market leading compensation: Base $250k + RVU

  • Move to production model after 18 months – Some PCP’s making upwards to $400k

  • M-F 8a-5p

  • Can work a 4-day week or a 5-day week

  • No hospital rotation

  • Call: 2-3 weeks out of the year

  • Average 16-22 patients a day

  • Will hire a 2025 resident

Qualifications
  • ​​​​BLS and ACLS

  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)

  • ​Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

  • The ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Strong technical skills.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Passionate about patient care

  • Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program

  • Active unencumbered Vermont physician state license

  • One year of Epic experience

  • Two years minimum of Primary Care Physician experience

  • MD or DO Doctorate degree


Requirements

· COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.

  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
