Responsibilities
An established medical center 1.5 hours from Savannah, Georgia, has an opening for an OB/GYN to provide call coverage.
Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care during weekend call coverage.
Respond promptly to any emergencies or urgent patient needs.
Collaborate with the local healthcare team for seamless patient care.
Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring safety for both mother and baby.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and offer expert medical advice.
Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients and staff.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions.
Opportunity Details:
Schedule: 24-hour weekend call shifts, sporadic coverage
Cases: ER, L&D
Daily Census: 10 patients
Support: RNs, ER team, L&D staff
EMR: Meditech
Must be board certified
