Radiation Oncologist
Compensation: $500,000 Base

Our Radiation Oncology department uses the latest technologies which enable our specialists to treat cancerous cells with pinpoint accuracy and minimal damage to healthy tissues.
Radiation therapy can damage normal cells, leading to side effects.
“TrueBeam” linear accelerator: This technology provides us with the highest quality radiation therapy on Guam. The “TrueBeam” linear accelerator targets cancer cells with exact precision, protecting healthy cells and allowing our patients to resume their normal, healthy lives sooner.

Treatment Modalities: From Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) to stereotactic radiosurgery
Collaboration with: Medical oncologists, Surgeons, and Support Staff

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Radiation Oncologist to work alongside a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered West Virginia physician state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Radiation Oncology physician
One year of Epic experience
Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
