Responsibilities
An opening for a board-certified General Radiologist to join an established hospital 1-hour outside of Birmingham, Alabama.
Enjoy residing in a charming town with easy access to Birmingham and outdoor recreational activities.
Position Highlights:
Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
On-Call: Rotating 1:3 on weekends
Daily Case Volume: ~130 cases per day
Case Mix: General Radiology, Mammography, and Light IR (biopsies, drainages, etc.)
Requirements: Must be board-certified

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered MD or DO Alabama state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as a Radiologist
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
