Responsibilities
Collaborating with a rural hospital in northwestern Washington with an opening for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.
About the Position:
Level 4 trauma center
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8a-5p or 4x 10-hour shifts
Call over the phone, 1:9
Daily Volume: 15 patients
Will work independently with some supervision
EMR: AthenaHealth
Must be board-certified & ACLS

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Washington state license
Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
One year of work experience as a Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
